Ala Dadan

Founder - New Media Designer

Ala started his career back in 2001 as full time employee and also a freelance web-designer.

Since then he worked on his dream to create an independent creative design team with his own vision for design and so O2 alternative was born.

During his career Ala was a member of different design teams in several companies in Jordan and as a freelancer in and outside Jordan as well.

Ala has a passion for creating web-interfaces, posters, and exploring different design tools and colors that would carry his own signature and style.

Ala’s motto is not to confine the mind, and a person should do what he wants on a daily basis and make it his/her main goal, and each project or idea would present him with ways to express  his passion to what he does and wander innovatively in his profession.

When he isn’t designing?

Ala enjoys reading about history, politics, and arts in general, watching a good movie and listening to his favorite music.

Muhannad Nasip

Senior Graphic / Web Designer

Muhannad started his career in 2005. Since then, he has been participating in making the web and the world a prettier place. Yes, that’s what designers do!

He designs with passion, focuses on the idea, thinks creatively and tries to be different. When it comes to web design, his great sense of align is his favorite tool. Every single pixel matters. Having a balanced brain, he designs with the artistic side and develops with the logical one.

He loves searching and learning and doesn’t get enough! When he learns something new, no matter how little or simple it was, it would make his day!
Design, art, photography, typography and music are his favorite topics, not forgetting development, web standards and usability.

He loves not design the less, but music more! It is his most inspiration source. When he is not designing, he is mostly playing music. He plays the accordion with a folkloric ensemble, and it is his ultimate joy. Beside of that, he enjoys hanging out with friends, networking and watching movies. He loves sense of humor and tries to keep smiling.

Jawdat Shammas

Webmaster

Jawdat fell in love with the web at first sight back in 1997 and since then he knew that the web will be his future career and definitely his passion. His first web site was about the american basketball team Chicago Bulls in 1997 when he participated in a local web design contest where the whole web space allowed for the web site was (200 KB)!! that space taught him how precious the web space we have now is, and how to optimize every single file that makes the web site.

He is good at looking at a web site from a business perspective and how to make the web site really work, he considers each web site as a web project so he uses the project management methodology in each project and delivers as planned in time.

Jawdat is a Certified Internet Webmaster (CIW) and a Certified Instructor for the CIW program.

Away from the web, Jawdat enjoys photography and listening to Pink Floyd.

Nathan

Flash / ActionScript

Nathan has been working with web technology since he was 16, at the age of 18 he discovered the world of Actionscript, now after many quality projects with some big names he has a great understanding of web technology and believes nothing is impossible when it comes to creating something with Actionscript.

While out and about he takes a pocket full of tunes and drumsticks in his back pocket. With his hands dirty in his project RX7 he hope to put his ideas on the road too, but his biggest enjoyment is working with a creative team to come up with designs and ideas to fashion the web.

Odeh Amarin

illustration Artist

Odeh gained great experience working at two different advertising companies through the past two years.

Odeh is passionate for all kinds of art... and he  produced over 30 video clips, in 3 video collections. Six illustrated comics with different characters and a story line. Many mixed media, pencil drawings and
paintings.

Soon he  will be an illustration graduate student at the Academy of Art University/ San Francisco, where he will learn many different illustration styles, strengthen my weaknesses and be able to see more!

Hafez Ahmad

Web Development

He graduated from Philadelphia University as Software Engineer, worked in many portals and web development companies, he is now working as Development Manager in VasHouse (Wireless service provider).

He is interested in many open source technologies like Linux, PHP and other web technologies like AJAX, CSS, web security, SEO.

He is now developing PHP extension for Kannel (the open source SMS gateway), he is looking forward to develop with Paython.
